Sometimes were not even cognizant of the detrimental impact of stress in our life. We are located at the Gateway to the Grand Mesa on the western slope of the Colorado Rockies., the largest flat top Mesa in the world. Overlooking the renowned Gunnison Black Canyon and the Great San Juan range is the backdrop for this place. We have cedar trees, pinon pines and oak trees surrounding our retreat cabin. A twenty minute drive from the scenic byway through the Grand Mesa will utterly lift your spirit you will see tall aspen trees, pine trees, natural wild flowers and tall green grass. With a lake or stream around every corner. There are plenty of trails to walk along, wildlife to see, and fresh mountain air to breathe. In winter it is snow covered and quite peaceful, a great place to write or paint in the silence and beauty of nature.

If your wanting to get out and about to enjoy some time exploring this area Cedaredge is the home of the Little Britches Rodeo, Applefest,home of great winery's and fresh fruitstands, it is natural that such a beautiful area would attract many artisans. The Apple Shed an old time fruit packing shed, has been refurbished and turned into a wonderful artist's showcase of individual shops and studios featuring local artist's works.. Visit the Pioneer town museum or Stop for lunch, tour our galleries, and enjoy shopping at its finest. We also have a full service spa within 10 minutes drive from this natural beauty.

At Women's Spirit, there is a Tipi set up for everyone's enjoyment, or you can experience what it's like to sleep in one.
There is a nature trail right here on site that you can walk along anytime during your stay. You can also bring your own tent to set up outside if you want your own private space.

It is truly a healing place. A place for light here on earth. From the great stars in the sky we came, and to the Great Light we will return.
